More than a dozen people are facing charges following a shoot-out at a King Sooper in Calgary, Canada, police said on Friday.
“It’s a very dangerous situation,” said Sgt. Sean O’Brien, with the Calgary Police Service.
“They are looking to bring a firearm to a deadly end.”
Investigators said the shooting took place in the parking lot of a home near the parking garage.
Police said they had received a call about a man driving recklessly and crashed into a parked vehicle, but they were not sure how he had ended up in the King Soopers parking lot.
The man was found dead at the scene and the investigation is ongoing, police confirmed.
Investigators said they were looking into whether there was any connection between the man who was killed and another man who died in a crash in Calgary earlier this month.
Authorities said that man, also known as “Crazy Joe,” was also killed in the collision.
