Authorities are searching for a man who shot two men at a Walmart store in Louisville on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after midnight local time (11:00 a.m EST).
Two men, ages 18 and 19, were shot, one of them with a gun.
One person who was inside the store, identified by police as 18-year-old Benjamin Williams, was taken to the hospital where he died.
Authorities have not said whether the shooting was connected to the two other men who were shot in the same Walmart.
3:00am: Police are searching a Walmart parking lot in Louisville for a white, 4-door vehicle.
Police have not released a description of the vehicle.
They have asked anyone with information to call Metro Louisville Crime Stoppers at 502-352-5500.
2:59am: The New York Times is reporting that a man was shot and wounded by police in New York.
Police say the man was sitting in a car in the parking lot of a Manhattan grocery store when officers came upon a vehicle that matched the description.
The suspect was shot multiple times and was taken into custody.
2am: Three people were killed and at least 17 others wounded in two separate shootings in Kentucky.
The incidents happened at a home in the 700 block of West Broadway in Louisville and in a Walmart shopping center in Louisville early Tuesday morning.
The shootings occurred just before 4:00 am local time.
Police believe that the two victims were in the home and that a third person was in the Walmart when the shooting took hold.
A Walmart spokesperson told ABC News that the company was aware of the shooting and that all employees were placed on administrative leave while the investigation is ongoing.
The shooting occurred shortly before 6:30 a.d. local time, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.
2.30am: A woman was shot in Louisville by police.
Police have not yet released the identity of the woman.
2pm: Police say the New York Police Department has responded to a shooting at a supermarket in the area of W. Broadway and South Broadway in New Jersey.
The New York City Police Department tweeted that the incident occurred in the vicinity of the intersection of West Broad Street and South Broad Street.
The New Jersey State Police tweeted that there were no injuries.
A police officer in the shopping center says he heard gunshots.
Police also said they believe there are two people who were in that vehicle.
The officers did not immediately release the names of those who were injured.
A statement posted on Facebook by the New Jersey state police says the department was called to the Walmart in the 500 block of South Broadway, in Newark, after receiving reports of shots fired.
The department said that the shooting occurred just prior to 6:45 a.s.m., and that it did not appear to be connected to any law enforcement activity.
1:30am : A Walmart employee was shot after a man attempted to rob the store.
The Walmart in Indianapolis was evacuated and the store reopened at 5:30 p.p.m (10:30 EST) but the shooter remains at large, according a spokesperson for Walmart.
A spokesperson for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said they responded to the scene at the Walmart after receiving a call about shots fired around 2:45 p.s., Indianapolis Metropolitan police said in a statement.
Police are still looking for the shooter, but said the department does not believe it was related to a homicide.
The statement did not provide further details.
1pm: Another man was arrested in a home invasion in the Boston suburb of Woburn.
Authorities said the suspects entered the home of a 23-year, unnamed male and took a shotgun and a rifle.
The suspects entered a residence on the 1600 block of Green Street, according the Boston Police Department.
The suspects then took a vehicle and drove it to the home, where the occupants were taken into police custody, the police said.
The armed suspect was taken in critical condition to a local hospital.
He is in police custody and is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds.
1.45am: Another woman has been shot in a drive-by shooting in New Orleans.
Authorities told the New Orleans Advocate that the woman was in her driveway in the 800 block of New Orleans Avenue when a man in a red pickup truck pulled up and fired multiple shots.
The woman and her
