Shooting incidents are rising in Texas, with two people shot in the last 24 hours.
The news comes after two people were shot dead in the state.
The shootings in Austin, Texas, and Cleveland, Ohio, happened after midnight on Wednesday.
In the Texas city of Austin, a 32-year-old man was killed by a gunman who then walked into a gas station and fired several shots, police said.
Two men, 20 and 19, were killed at the gas station in the town of Crenshaw.
A 19-year, adult woman was also shot in a different area of the city.
There were no suspects in either incident, police Chief Charles McClellan said.
Police said the two people killed in the Cleveland suburb of Cleveland were both shot in their homes, and they were both pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The victims were identified as Michael Scott Miller, an accountant, and Michael Patrick Miller, a police officer, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Police also said that the second man, a 21-year old man, died at a hospital.
A spokesperson for the Cleveland police department said the man was shot in his home after an argument with another man.
No motive for the shooting was immediately known.
