Free shooting titles and games are coming to all fans this week, according to the Australian National University’s Interactive Media and Entertainment (IME) group.
The university has created a free shooting games category to showcase its latest game creations.
There are two categories of free shooting titles on the IME website, one for children and another for adults.
These titles can be downloaded for free, or for a nominal fee of $1.99.
The game categories are part of IME’s latest initiative to help Australian shooters hone their skills and hone their aim, according a statement on the group’s website.
The aim of the free shooting title and the games categories is to promote the game industry in Australia and in the world, the statement said.
“We’re committed to providing our fans with the best shooter games available, while helping us develop Australian shooters as well,” IME said in a statement.
“The goal is to encourage and support our shooters to be the best they can be, and create the best shooters possible for their game players.”
Free shooting titles include titles from the likes of The Walking Dead and The Walking Shot, according IME.
The Australian Institute of Professional Shooting (AIPS) is among the most prestigious international shooting championships in the country, with a total of over 30,000 participants.
Its latest champion, American Adam Walsh, is a four-time World Shooting Champion, having won gold in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
His latest title, which won the IMD Young Player of the Year Award, is called The Walking Stalker.
He said the titles are meant to give players a taste of the shooting game world and the competitive environment, and give the shooter a platform to prove themselves.
“This is a great way for shooters to try to prove their skills, but also give the players a sense of competition and fun to compete against each other,” he said.
